Robert Low, CFO
Robert Low has over 25 years of "hands-on" experience in the financial management of entrepreneurial companies. He started consulting in 1989 serving with more than 50 companies. Prior to that he twice worked as controller of high technology startup companies and was CFO of a $90M software company. Robert has extensive experience in securing venture and bank financing, crisis management, due diligence, implementing accounting systems, preparing financial forecasts, and non-profits.
Recent accomplishments have included 6 years as controller of BancWare, Inc. during a period of rapid growth including several acquisitions; developing planning and budgeting tools at the New England Conservatory of Music; part-time Controller of PlanetAll, one of the earliest social networking start-ups, which was sold to Amazon.com for close to $100 million; part-time CFO at Viveca Software during closing of a $14 million venture capital round; and serving as part-time Controller and a director for Fotec, Inc., until its successful sale to Fluke Networks.
Robert is the author of Accounting and Finance for Small Business Made Easy (Entrepreneur Press, 2004) and Bottom Line Basics (Oasis Press, 1995). These books cover the essentials of financial management of smaller companies and are written for non-financial managers. Robert is also one of the inventors of Cashe, a knowledge-based Windows applications for financial forecasting and analysis. In connection with Cashe, Robert taught numerous training classes and spoke at American Management Association valuation courses.

Robert received his B.A. degree from Rice University and his Master's degree from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.

Daniel Perron, CFO
Daniel Perron has over 20 years of "hands on" diversified financial management experience in a variety of industries. He has held a number of corporate financial positions which have included: director of finance for a leading venture capital firm, vice president of finance for a boutique securities firm and controller for a real estate investment company. Since 1991, Dan has worked as a part-time CFO / business advisor with over 50 companies. Dan's blend of experience with leading edge technology and traditional companies brings a unique financial perspective to client companies.
Recent engagements have included: part-time CFO for a software startup (Parity Communications, Inc.); part-time CFO for a real estate management and development company (First Equity Associates); part-time CFO for a Boston based regional law firm (Hanify & King, P.C.); and part-time CFO for a market research firm (Strategy Analytics, Inc.).
Services have included, financial and automated system implementation, financial forecasting and analysis, financial statement preparation, purchase and sale negotiations, investor relations and fund raising.
Dan received his B.S. B.A. degree (cum laude) from Nichols College and a Masters of Business Administration from the Lubin School of Business, Pace University.
